Charisse Aquino-Tugade

Charisse Aquino-Tugade is the excutive director in the National Book Development Board. She graduated with honors in Visual Anthropology and Marketing from San Francisco State University and is continuing her studies in Cultural Heritage in the University of Sto. Tomas. As a researcher and curator, she is interested in participatory production and distribution of cultural heritage and identity activation among youth. She just installed a one-month-long exhibit with in cooperation with Senator Loren Legarda and National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) at the Senate of the Philippines entitled, “Philippine Indigenous Patterns and Forms”.
