JOCELYN A. RIVERA-LUTAP is associate professor at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, College of Architecture, Design and the Built Environment. She has a degree in B.S. Architecture, Far Eastern University and MS in Architecture, University of Santo Tomas. She earned her doctorate in Public Administration at Eulogio “Amang” Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology. She was appointed as chairperson of the Department of Architecture and Interior Design from 2004-206 and 2013- 2018 and became Dean of the College. She was bestowed the title “Fellow” under Education by the United Architects of the Philippines. Her architectural practice ranges from single structures to commercial/residential and government complexes. She is a founding member of International Network of Traditional Building, Architecture and Urbanism, Philippine chapter and Green Restorative Action and Sustainable Solutions. She was a special lecturer at the College of Architecture, University of Santo Tomas, College of St. Benilde and National University. Her research includes bamboo architecture, education, environmental sustainability and material recovery which were presented in local and international conference and most were published in international publications.
